Sony xperia Story ( Tweet #HoplessSony)





















Hi Dear All Countrymen

How are you all doing?

I hope you all are doing fine.

I wish to draw your attention one incedent happened to me. If you feel thisis ethical please take some pains to share and forward this to all your freinds, Kith Nad keen.

So here is what happened to me.

I am a resident of Thane, Maharashtra, INDIA

It so happened that I purchased Sony Xperia ModelI on lT-28 H  Sr No 343448052696980  from the Authorized Dealer of Sony, in Charai Thane the name of the shop is "Mr N Mrs, atWadke House, OldBombay Road, Thane (w), Tel No 022 25305640." ( The shop is owned by Mr Bharat Jain.)They have one front line sales personal Mr Shankar by his name and my son knows him well. I paid Rs 21990/- the hard earned money (Invoice No 115 dated 24/04/214)

We have already bought couple of cell phones from him and having a lot of trust we bought Sony Xperia also from the same shop on 24th April, 2014

The same had some defect in to it and in December 2014 we contacted Mr Shankar who sounded very helpful and guided me to approach Sony Xperia Service Center. I paid a visit to the Sony Xperia Authorized Service Centre in thane on 20th December for the after sales service. There was one very snobbish lady sitting there and the Authorized Service Center and it was full of customers. But I was sent back as I was not carrying the Copy Purchase in Invoice. I revisited the same Service Center with Copy of Purchase Invoice and submitted my Cell Phone for necessary repaid on 22nd December.

After two days I received a call from Service Center communicating that the my Cell Phone is ready after repairs and I can collect. I was very happy to know that though it failed during warranty period the Service Centre has done the good job.

I reached to collect the my cell phone and there is one Mr Saurabh Nandi sitting at front office attested me and communicated that the SMS was sent by mistake and the same is not ready whereas it takes about 7 working days to repair it as they are already overloaded with lot of complains.

After very frequent and desperate follow ups by mr and Mr Shankar, they call ed me to Service Centre and offred ine very dirty looking hand set as a "Service Set". Mr Shankar was very proactive and helping to attend all my calls during these period, I also spoke to Mr Bharat Jain,but he always sounded rude and non-helping.

Therefore I always communicated with Mr Shankar. Eventually 0n 12th,Jan 2015, They returned my Cell Phone with so called "Repairs" ( Thanks to Mr Shankar who did frequent follow up with Sony Authorized Service Centre

It still did not functioned well and in Feb I sent my office -boy to the Service Centre again as the hand set had "Battery Tripping Problem", He was sent back with it saying the hand set it alright ( It happened Twice).

In the process of repairing and removing of the "Sim Card: and the "Memory Card" so frequently the back side lid broke off. The same I brought it to their Notice. They refused to help me even I was ready to pay.

They informed my office boy to approach some road side, unauthorized place to buy that part in Thane..I myself went across the un-authorized market to buy it but after visiting 7/8 such shops, I could not get that spare part.

I approached Mr Shankar, but this time Mr Bharat Jian picked up the call. I told him the problem and ask for his email id. I requested him to forward my email to the company on my behalf, but he said " You may write me a email, If I found it ok, only then I will forward to Sony Xperia Authorized Service Center"

Subsequently I wish to point out following:-
1) I bought Sony Experia, branded Cell Phone which failed twice in warranty period.
2) Despite of spending Rd 21990/- Company is not ready to co-operate and to hide their inability to give required service, they are sending the customer to Grey Market to buy duplcate spare-part
3) Absolutely un-helpful approach of Mr Bharat Jain.

Ladies and Gentlemen please realise the harassment I went through after spending Rs 21990/-

If you a planning to buy Sony Experia, please read this small story of mine.

Please think while buying Sony Experia. The Salesmen of the shop speak very aggressively about this brand and promote it. But in case of "After Sales Service" they point out to "Authorized Service Center"
